MISS JANE

At first Miss Jane was booked to have African braids, but on closer examination, her low forehead deemed this off-the-face hairstyle wouldn’t be suitable.

I still thought a fringe would be too heavy, so decided to re-root her with a sweeping side-parting, tapered down at the front from chin level to much longer at the back.

Miss Jane’s ends were gently curled under with the front teased off her face as it would do naturally.

Whilst her hair is primarily black, I added in a few highlights of dark brown to play with the light and snipped in the most finest short strands of fringe, just to soften around her forehead to complete the look.
